Job Description:

This role will support the organization in its Geographic Information System (GIS) services.  Using your GIS knowledge and skills, you will use applicable software to accomplish tasks such as:

  • Web development
  • Data Modelling
  • Data Maintenance
  • Maintaining and utilizing the Districts ArcGIS online account, including building web mapping applications with out-of-box templates, Survey 123, Collector, and web app builder
  • Producing Paper Map Products
  • Applying your strong customer service skills as you respond to GIS related inquiries and requests from internal staff

 In addition to producing digital products, you will communicate problems and identify deficiencies and suggest solutions to GIS data related issues, as well, you feel comfortable wearing multiple hats and working within a multidisciplinary team environment. Note this position may be required to work (partially) remotely due to COVID protocols.

 Job Qualifications: MUST possess a Valid Driver’s License.  Preference to students enrolled in GIS or other related fields of study however will accept any university program with applicable skills. Experience with ESRI platform is required.
